    Never understood anticipation. Anticipation would be how quickly you can react and know what's around you. Like you predict something happening. Is ford the all seeing ones? lol

    I think the car measures it by checking how suddenly you brake. If you're braking less and letting the car slow down gradually then that means you're anticipating when you'll need to stop. As opposed to a lot of drivers who accelerate above the speed limit to overtake you then slam on the brakes at some traffic lights.
