Good morning I became the owner of a Fiesta Finesse yesterday it's the 2000 model 2 door and although it quite old it's in excellent condition so I am delighted with the car so today I joined the forum to broaden my knowledge about the car anticipating i will need help in the future.

So what got you to choose this Fiesta?

I was supposed to be buying a Ford Focus Ghia but the deal fell through on the 1ST of September they couldn't provide a log book they had sent to the DVLA but after it hadn't arrived by the 1st I rang the DVLA and they said it could take up to 6 weeks which meant I couldn't tax the car! I had already insured it so I was gutted but there was no way I was going to wait 6 weeks so that was that. Now as it turned out it's the best thing that could have happened, I had a look on Gumtree on the morning of the 1st and there I spotted the fiesta for sale 12 months MOT, 6 months Tax, 87000 miles on the clock, a full service history all done by Days and it was up for sale £545, so I had my mate to take me to see the car and it was mine by 1pm for £500. I just couldn't believe how lucky I was! The car is in a fantastic condition just a little rust over the rear arches, 4 bran new tyres and it runs like a swiss watch needless to say I am delighted.

do you still have the focus or did you sell it on?

I didn't actually pay for it I put a £50 deposit on it which is being returned so I am very pleased
