    I am surprised that engines havent been restricted to a maximum of 80cc :P

    Tax disk is sensible progression though!

    Everything is heading towards ANPR which kinda makes sense. Allowing for technical, computer glitches, should hopefully go some way to putting an end to vehicles without VED, insurance and MOT.

    Now if only they applied the principle to foreign owned cars and clamped and crushed them if they don't pay their penalty notices.

    With regards to limiting the wattage on Vacuum Cleaners and people's negative opinions about that, I suggest you read this thread on the subject.

    In terms of losing the tax disc, I won't be shedding any tears over it!! I have a feeling though that it may make a lot of (stupid) people think they can get away without taxing their vehicle because it isn't visible.

    I have this too, thought it was good to have a bit of a laugh about it when it can be removed soon anyway. And on 1st October it will be removed, and it will be good to finally have a windscreen with nothing on it :)

    Well they could send them to Ireland our gardai or police as you call them seem to be in the stone ages compared to the British police
