I found today a rather interesting and painful day! Had the wife and kids in the car and we headed out to the local Asda about 8 mile away...

Got on the motorway and all was fine, overtook a car no problem, moved back over and pop! Dislocated my shoulder at 70mph! Needless to say it hurt! No one can drive so I had to keep going with my right arm seized in a chicken wing posture lol.

Driving one armed is hard with a manual but other than high revs my driving seemed relatively good lol

Anyone else had anything similar happen to them?

Not had that, but I also have Hyper mobility and when I was going down some steps and slipped. This resulted in my left foot getting stuck backwards! After a few mins I move it and it went back to normal!

Stuck backwards? Do you mean twisted around or stick down like a ballet dancer? Did that not hurt putting it back to normal?

Yep, freaks my friends out at school! Lol

my youngest suffers from this AND does this aswel.

he was born with bi lateral tailpes.

as for me ive had on occassions where my right knee locks up,the right 1 is worse then the left, hence why i drive mpvs rather then cars.seems to be worse when your arris is level with the pedals :)

wow, sounds very painfull to have your shoulder dislocated when driving the highway.

My 3 year old daughter also has the Hyper Mobility Joint Syndrome. Luckily for her she never dislocated any joints yet.

She also has problems with growing, as she is 15-20 cm smaller than other kids of her age.

Maybe we have to get her on growth hormons later if she is still that small.

The only advantage is that she can enter a zoo or amusement park and still get in for free as sometimes she looks like a 2 year old :D
