Hi all, can anyone please explain why my air con comes on EVERYTIME I put my heating on??? Even if the temp is on hot it still comes on! Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

    I don't know if the Focus is the same as my Fiesta but if the vent control is set fully to windscreen the a/c comes on. I turn the dial back one notch to stop this happening. May be different in yours though.

    Any setting that points at the screen automatically engages the AC. Not found a way to stop it...but to be honest, I'm not that fussed - only takes a brush of the finger across the button as it comes back to the steering wheel to knock it off
