2.0 Throttle Body To 1.8Tddi Zetec

Featured Replies

Are these parts i can get from the 2.0 focus or mondeo from a scrap yard??

Can i get the parts from a 2.0 zetec focus or mondeo from the scrapy and if so is it worth it???

C. - If you have a TDDI turbodiesel like it says in you profile/ avatar/ the title -

you dont have or need a throttle body on your diesel - its for PETROL ENGINED cars, and guess what, you dont need spark plugs or coil packs either :)

A. - ITBs designed for NA (naturally asperated/ non turbo) engines wont work on turbodiesels either

As homer simpson would say - D- OH!

Moral - if you want your turbodiesel to go quicker - get a remap

Yeah i kinda guessed that after doing some research, lol. Gonna get the bluefin remap kit boost upto 30% bhp or claims to. Im new to diesel mods what else can be done to the engine to gain extra from it
