Hey

Featured Replies

Just recently purchased a 1.6 Econetic Fiesta in the edge trim.

First fiesta I have ever owned but I really do enjoy my fords and had plenty of Mondeos in my time!

Hoping to facelift the fiesta to a Mk7.5 as it has a few nice touches and add on a few extras the edge misses out on.

Welcome! Share some pics :)

Hi welcome :)

Welcome! Don't facelift it, pre 2013s look better!

I plan to get some pictures up soon after a proper wash and polish.

I don't intend on changing the exterior, just the door cards, centre console and maybe the radio but that seems like a pain of a job.

I'm hoping to get a 2012 MK7 (because that's the latest you can get the colour I want) and I'm planning to change the centre console trim to shiny black like the 7.5s. I have to say I do prefer the interior of the later ones.

Yeah, the shiny black trim is very nice.

Same with the door cards, the drivers side layout is nicer than the Mk7

Welcome to the family Trevor! How do you find it compared to the Mondeo? I personally couldnt imagine dropping down to a Fiesta after the Mondeo? but then again the one I have tried was a gutless 1.25 petrol compared to the turbo diesels I have had for years!

I don't find it too bad power wise, and size wise their is only ever 2 people in the car at once. I just miss the odd things like an arm rest, more adjustment to the seat and being able to dim the dash lights.

When I was waiting for this car the dealer gave me a 1.25 facelift petrol Fiesta for a week and it was slow, good for town but lacked the urge for motorways etc.. Still a lot of fun on the country roads though. :driving:
