Cyclist got up, therefore I can only award the truck driver 50 points...

On a serious note though, that was some underpants destroying stuff right there... Notice how the truck driver wasn't wearing a seatbelt either.. Scary.. Glad the cyclist was ok!!!

Yeah definitely, if it was one second earlier that would have been one squished cyclist.

that was definately the luckiest cyclist in the planet.

I like how the bumper separates from the car and the cyclist goes right through the middle of both. You do have to wonder why he didn't stop though, firstly when he could see both vehicles coming (though he was looking to the left), and secondly after the crash. Just ducked a bit and carried on lol.

its times like this you wonder if it was staged but sadly it isnt! it just seems so surreal!

I remember watching a series on Discovery channel about a year ago, how people escaped the most dangerous of circumstances, some included a car that clipped a motorway barrier and soared through the air and straight up into a central reservation, cutting the car in two, others like a guy who was holding his child and a car mounted the pavement, crushed him and his child into a shop window and yet both came out relatively unscathed. The last one I remember was similar to this, where a passenger walking across a junction, had a car crash occur with a van, and the van rolled over, on top of him and he survived. If I recall rightly, the window shattered on the van, and the van rolled on top of this guy, and somehow the broken window portion ONLY was the part that covered him, so no part of the van actually came in contact with him, he just got in the van and out again in half a second....

Its amazing how life can look after you sometimes. even if it does flatten you the rest of the time :p
