What Would You Do? Fight Or Flee

Featured Replies

That's asking for it. I dislike people who do that walk off and leave the car door open, engine running or not it's just asking for trouble and it was extremely foolish to fight he could have so easily been crushed to death.

Honestly though I think I would want to let it go but I feel like my humanly reactions may do something else

I'd fight, but on the other hand I wouldn't be stupid enough to leave my car unattended with the door wide open either!

Trouble is you don't know if there's a child in the back of the car or something......obviously stupid leaving the door open with the engine running. But I exspect emotions and adrenaline kicked in, making you protect what's yours. I can't say what I would do (well my door wouldn't be open with engine running lol) as you never know till it happens. In my experience, the ones who gob off saying "I'd fight them" would be the ones who won't!

If I'm not mistaken, that's a handheld camera, not CCTV. Why would someone be filming a car coming into a car park (or whatever she's doing)? Either the whole thing was staged for a YouTube video (unlikely as it's very dangerous), or the person filming it knew something was going to happen. Maybe they see lots of drivers doing the same thing there & were waiting for their moment?

Maybe I'm over-analysing it, but. I just can't see why they were stood filming out of their window.

It's a hand held recording the footage off a monitor screen. You can see the camera flash/light reflecting and the screen colours looking strange

Ah yes, brilliant detective work mixmasterlooney! I should have spotted that from the picture quality really.

My thoughts exactly. It would change if I see they have a knife of some other weapon, I'd back off then. Of course you never know what you'd do in the heat of the moment.

I wouldnt leave the car unsafe like that, if I ever leave the ignition running, I lock the doors. And I only do this outside my door, or if there is a serious battery issue and it needs to run to charge.

I wouldnt be as stupid as they were.

One lack of surprise - no body bothered to do anything!!!
