Fire Alarm To Mobile Phones? Anyone?

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to link fire alarms to send a signal to a mobile phone? Been googling all evening and found plenty about burglar alarms, but ziltch really about fire alarms...

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

Have a look for firetext. It uses a sim to tell your phone.

I've come across that on my searches. Whilst it seems brilliant, the problem with that in my circumstances is that it's linked to a smoke alarm, and unless I want to buy about 30 of them, it's not really good enough 'coverage'...

I've got a twinflex fire alarm system if that helps anyone searching?

I know with burglar alarms you can have them linked some how...

I wonder if it would all boil down to a company that would link up to my fire alarm and then they would be alerted if it went off, and then THEY would contact ME... hope not as I can imagine it would be expensive :/
