Hi all.

I bought a 54 plate (regd in Jan 2005) 1.6 Titanium 5 dr manual with ti-vct engine and 82300 mile on the clock.

I've changed the cam belt, w/pump, oil + filter, bled brakes, replaced boot micro switch and new front tyres.

I used to be a mechanic so no real big deal accept timing the cam belt was a pain. Why no keyed crankshaft!?

Looks good, drives nice but I find the brakes un-impressive and gear change a bit wayard (maybe worn).

Next to do: Gearbox oil, silly top fascia glove box catch, sort out HVAC.
