Hi....

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I have recently purchased a 53 plate Focus MP3 1.8

Joined this forum as there are a few jobs that need doing and would like to attempt the majority of these myself, alloy wheel refurb, spoiler installation, rust treatment and such.

I am female so no judgemental comments please, I have always had an interest in cars but this is the first time I have wanted to attempt jobs myself.

So hi :D

Hi!

Will be watching this closely for the alloy wheel refurb, i was forced to kerb mine..

The spoiler installations should be easy as I'm pretty sure someone will already have the official installation sheet for your focus!

No idea about the rust treatment though!

Either way welcome! :)

My alloys are quite elderly and in real need of attention, I even suspect that I am loosing air through my front offside which is going to be costly.

I am also missing some plastic interior pins (that's the only way I can describe them) will have to upload a picture of what I mean soon, it's the panel that your seat belt comes from looks like it's been taken to pieces and put back with out replacing the fixing pins/bolts.

I hope to most of the work myself on this car but who knows, once winter sets in I might just bottle out and fire it in our local garage, at the end of the day, it's one of their mechanics I purchased it off.

Hi welcome :)

Welcome to the family!

Thanks guys, will be posting my rust questions soon, some spots have been treated already by the previous owner but now left with black treated patched that I don't know what to do with, will post pics in a new thread :)
