I Have A Clear Sticky Liquid Running Out Of My Door

Featured Replies

My Focus(2008 Titanium 1.6) has suddenly started leaking a clear sticky liquid fro the bottom of my passenger door. Has anyone got any idea what it might be? Thanks in advance for your help.

Bit old for it to start happening now but it could be sealer wax coming out - there will be drainage holes in the bottom of the door panel for this.

Maybe you've had some water get into the door and as this has drained out it's brought some wax with it.

Thank you Troy for the solution. Took door panel off & dried the wet which was in the door due to leaving the window open yesterday during a downpour. Wax took some getting off though.

No problem, glad it helped - I was going to say the inside of the door isn't a dry area as such and use the window going up and down as an example of why :)
