Really ? You think ?  Great 🫣.  I suppose it makes sense to change the water pump at the same time.  If it’s the timing belt, is it safe to drive ? Is it just slipping ??

Hi just wondering if anyone found out what the problem could be as I have the same noise and have had it for a couple years, I’ve tried changing the driveshaft bearing as I thought that may have been causing it but hasn’t made a difference, it’s a metallic whistling/spinning noise when I accelerate

Hi, I have had the exact same problem for over a couple of years now since I got my Ford Fiesta mk6 1.25 (build year 2009).

I have had following things changed:

  • Timing belt
  • Water pump
  • Serpentine belt
  • Alternator (bearings)
  • A/C unit
  • Start motor

Now that almost everything is new I'm just out of options what could possibly cause this annoying sound.
