Was in ASDA yesterday and picked up some bananas (the ones in the £1 marked bag)

just out of curiosity I was walking past the scaled and put them on the scales you wouldn't believe how much there ripping you off!

For a £1 marked bag they would charge 44p!!

So i picked up loose bananas and weighed them to roughly £1 mark (£1.08)
and I got More than Double!

So when your in your local shop pick up loose bananas and check price compared to marked bags!

    Lol typical supermarket attitude, this thing is double the price it should be so lets make it look like a good deal :wacko:

    When I used to work at Tesco some customers would take the bananas out of the pack and buy them as loose ones, can't really blame them when this is going on.

    The only downside is you now have a lot of bananas. If you really like them or live near a monkey enclosure then this isn't too much of a problem.

    You should have printed the 44p label off, stuck it on then gone through a till to see what the cashier says.
