Idelling

I have a Ford C-Max 2008 1.6 110bhp, could you please tell me what the idelling speed is. My car is ticking over at just over 600. Many thanks

It is a 1.6 turbo diesel just to let u know

Should be around 800rpm

On Rev counter do they go up in 200 ???

I think it actually goes up in 250 rev steps - dunno why !

Yeah, that's where it should be when idling.

If yours was reving at 600rpm, I suspect the idle would be really rough and also appear to be about to stall.
