jayy49
Hello, I recent bought a Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25 09 reg. I am having trouble figuring out how to work the exterior mirror. Manually or electrical, I don't know how to fold and unfold the mirrors fully. I have ready the manual to no avail. I can move the inner glass of the mirror using the button on the driver door however. Can someone perhaps explain so I may solve this issue? ionaskye7
Does your car come with power fold wing mirrors? Mine don't but I do know that if the car has this as an option/selected they just go in and back out themselves when the car is locked/unlocked... I wasn't aware that it could be done when the car is running but I don't have this on mine so I wouldn't know for certain
jayy49
I don't think my car does personally, I bought this from its first owner. Even then so i don't really know how to do it manually... Tried pushing it from outside but I feel like I'm breaking it so have just left it haha Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
ionaskye7
Mine can be quite stiff it's hard to judge when I've not tried yours personally. Could always take it into a dealer because if they don't fold manually anyway surely there's a fault/error somewhere?
laumk7
Mine were stiff when I first got my current car, but it's a case of having to fold them in when parking on some roads around here (or risk them being torn off / broken by passing traffic - it does have to get that close!), thankfully my new ones got power fold. Op persevere and they will ease up on the joints, especially if they've never been folded, or as a pp says take them to your local dealership, and get them to show you how Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
