What Are These Light Bulbs Please?

Featured Replies

Alright Guys

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me what are these types of bulbs are and if I can have them in my Ford Fiesta Zetec 2011 model or not....

I will try my best to expalim

I have noticed in some cars within the headlamps area that underneath the normal car lights (I,e indicator, full beam, etc) there are several smaller bulbs that look nice.. I have no idea what they are and if I can have them or not.. Anyone got any ideas... I have no idea if they are daytime driving lights or something else

How do I know if mine is a MK7?? As far as I know it's a 2011 Zetec Model.... I thought I could get the bulbs separate and then add them.. Not buying the whole headlight part :)

You can get them separate if you want to but they will not fit in the headlights. You will have to locate them somewhere else on the car which can look a little naff. If yours is a mk7 it will b the latest fiesta shape which will look like my profile pic and MarksST's profile pic.

^^^ ours is known as a mk7.5, a 2011 will be a mk7.

As Steven said you can get LED strips but to fit them into the headlamps would mean splitting them apart and that's not an easy job.

Other than that there was a ford kit to mount them under the lights in the bumper.

I quite like the look of those eBay lights, would like black headlights for my ST.

If was going to do a drl conversion on mine if I didn't have then already that's the way i'd do it by changing the full lights. Much easier and looks a lot better instead of the just stick a strip somewhere taxi look.

i agree Mark a darker headlight backing would look better on the ST's. I'd rather a smoked chrome effect myself instead of all black.
