i was getting a thud when changing gear,replaced all the mounts but was still there but to a lesser extent.

now its cold weather it has stopped?

any ideas why?

is it the mount rubber being harder or metal joint retracting?

Could it be a loose bolt ? Makes sense as summer loosens metal.
