I've been thinking about upgrading to HIDs. I was looking at HIDs 4u but I can't justify the price. I've just found these on Amazon, they're call VIP HIDs. Has anyone ever used these and are they any good? Thanks in advance

check the search engine for "HID's" lots to say about them, my 2cents. I love mine, you do not need canbus Hid's, mine works 100% and are Non-Canbus 35w small ballasts 6000k.

If you want them to be as close to OEM I would go for a 5000k, I wanted a bit of Blue in mine and went for the 6000k, works great, but I would'nt go for anything upwards of 6000k

PS. I still have to see the difference between 55w and 35w, I don't think they are brighter in anyway

I am from SA so doubt you will be able too get the same Hid's as mine, but you can have a look at www.violetelectronics.co.za I used them and they are very helpfull with any questions you might have, just email them.

I paid about R500 for them not incl. postage, which is about 30 pounds.
