Rear Door Replacement

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a replacement rear door for my mk2.5 moo dust silver 5 door focus as someone has left it with a huge crease through the panel. I have come across a few mk2 (pre facelift) doors in silver cheap near me. I know the mk2 had bump strips on, but would it otherwise be a direct match (including colour shade) and are he bump strips taped or mounted on fixings?

Also is the wiring the same in both?

I think the actual swage line down the side of the car is different on the mk2/2.5, it is on the estate anyway.

As above, the style line on the skin panel is totally different - wouldn't match up at all and you may have problems with door sealing as well.

If your car has rear door modules and the other door hasn't or vice versa that will cause problems as well
