Need To Code Fob And Key To 62 Plate Fiesta

Featured Replies

Anybody knows how to do it, or does it have to be done my a auto keysmith or dealer?

thanks

Steve

If you mean the transponder chip needs programming to the immobiliser circuit then an Auto Locksmith is your best option.

A dealer will charge about an hours labour and they all seem duty bound to enforce a diagnostic on you as well so adds about £100 to the cost.

A locksmith could do it in seconds with an IDS module and won't charge you the earth.

Thanks mate, the cheapest Ive managed to find is £130, and they supply a genuine ford flip key, and come to you.

P.S. I notice you train search dogs, etc., What type German Shepard/Malinois????

Sounds a decent result with the key tbh.

I work a Mali and a Springer at present.
