Mist Washer Jets

Featured Replies

In my ongoing quest to make my Focus as upmarket as the wife's Mondeo, I was wondering what was involved in fitting mist washer jets? I don't really see the point in having heated ones, as the location of the screen wash tank can cause freezing issues anyway.

Would these fit?

Do I require non-return valves to stop an after skoosh dribble? :)

Fitted them to my 56 plate 1.6 lx. Work great love them.

The same jets as the link above?

Yeah the same as them. Easy to fit to. I do get a after dribble with them so will probably be best to fit a return valve.

These are just original non heated Focus MK3 washer jets. These are a straight fit to a focus MK1/MK1.5 or Focus MK2/MK2.5.

The original non heated MK3 washer jets will only cost a few Pounds from a local Ford dealer. The heated MK3 washer jets however will cost a lot more.

Do Ford sell the non-return valves?

The Focus MK2/MK2.5 has a non-return valve between the hose of the rear washer jet. The Finis part number of this non-return valve is 6745316.
