Hi new member ,I have a focus st170 04 plate ,sidelight gone and handbook says to go dealership to replace ,can I not do myself ? bearing in mind I never touch anything except top up oil and water lol I know im 60 and useless appreciate your help and comments

    Hi there and welcome:)

    For Mk1's you are best to remove the headlight assembly. There are 3 bolts, 2 visible from the top and one can be accessed from inside the wheel well. Other than that I found it impossible to get the bulbs changed. Once the light housing is off the back simply clips open to give access.
