Focus Titanium Submarine Lights

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Had the headliner out on my MK2 Titanium last week. Plugged the main interior light back in exactly how it was wired before removing it.

After reinserting the unit, the two red submarine lights now won'twork when the sidelights are on but all other bulbs are working fine!

Are these on a separate fuse or have I somehow managed to blow two at the same time.

Any thoughts as I severely miss them :'(

Cheers.

why did you have to take out headliner was it to replace bulbs

Removed the headliner to locate the bolts to remove the roof rails (I've got an estate)

Anymore ideas on this please gents?

The ambient light unit has a seperate connector to it.

I'll dig up a photo of it's location for you.

There should be a connection to the circled pin-

All wires present and conconnected. Strange coincidence if two bulbs blow after having the unit out, unless I've tugged a wire.

May aswell buy a new unit lol

Still haven't got to the bottom of this one. Have just brought the light unit inside to check all connections. Does anyone know what bulbs they take?
