However if anyone requires some help with basic diagnostics or forced regeneration or coding keys for example I can and am willing to help out if they are within a close distance to myself, i.e Chesterfield and surrounding areas. Mostly Mk2 and MK2.5 Focus obviously.

Basically if you need to check error codes or have a key programmed or a forced regeneration, but it is at your own risk as it is an offer of help not a Trained mechanic at a Ford dealer, might be helpful for those on an especially tight budget.

I am happy to try and help people out where I can.

I should add you would need to come to me for this offer of help, or if you are really stuck and the car is not mobile then I may be able to come to you.

    How do you program keys? I thought only ford could do that?

    Ford IDS is the diagnostics that the Ford dealers use. I have a website that I use to generate the incodes from the outcodes and that allows me to program keys. The IDS i have does pretty much the same as the dealer version.

    Thanks for the offer of relocating but as much as I like Scotland it's too !Removed! cold up there lol
