alexp999
Wiring diagrams here: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/42898-ford-focus-full-wiring-schematics-mk225-and-mk3/ If you are using the proper DRL connection, you will probably need the car re-configured for them to work. jeebowhite
that picture isnt very usable unfortunately as theres more white space than image :p If you can post a picture of just the instructions cropped out and no extra white space that will make it easier (if that is, Alex's direction didnt help you)

huey45
Hi jeebowhite I will try sending all attachments in one post instead of all on one sheet..im puzzled about alexp999 post on proper drl connection ?
alexp999
I just mean, if you were going to connect to the factory DRL looms, they would probably need turning on. If you are using a DRL kit, which uses existing (live) wiring, it shouldn't be a problem.
huey45
Hi Alex/James I dont know if you can see wiring on picture of relay I recently posted but it has the following wires :- 1 Plain Green wire which could be Auto Sensing Trigger ?, not sure which pin that should go to in headlight connector 2 Blues, I presume that they are DRL power feeds on long connectors 1 Black probably ground or chassis "-" 1 Red, which in my previous pics, is plugged in adjacent to 15a fuse in under bonnet box, not sure if correct position ? Im not sure if the Chinese reverse our colours for positive and negative ? as we use Red as "+", and Black as" -" ?? Regards Keith
madmole
Why would you need resisters on the DRL circuit. Even the pukka Ford ones only piggyback in and are not part of the Can Bus sensors Red goes to a 12v ignition feed in the fuse box Black goes to a body earth the 2 blues are the feeds to the bulbs Green is spliced into the Park light circuit to dim the DRL's when the lights com on Beware, if these are going in the fog lamps (which it looks like from the bulbs) then they are almost certainly not legal (position and cos fuzz and everyone else will think you have fogs on and get upset)
huey45
Hi Stephen Thanks man your a star, im not a "Leccy Techie", just a very old mechanical grease monkey do I just probe around in under bonnet fuse box to find a 12 V ignition feed or do you have one in mind ? madmole
Search in the guides section, I posted the full instructions for wiring the Ford DRL's. That details the fuse that Ford use for their DRL's and also which wire to piggy back into in the headlamps
