Featured Replies

Hey guys, so I follow the "Mk2 Focus Tuning" page on facebook, which, is 90% german, where after using a little bit of google translate, I was pointed to this front bumper, which to me, is perfect.

Can anyone tell me what it is off? Or where I can acquire one?

That's a focus cc front bumper from the cabriolet extremely hard to find and very expensive £200 plus without the fogs or the grill insert I looked at it the above is 2nd hand unpainted prices when I was going to do it bumper parts and paint was £427

Ughhh... The prefacelift is so hard to improve, it's basically, ST it, or nothing..

Cheers buddy

One of my work colleagues bought a Mk2 Ghia with the CC front already fitted and he had no clue that it wasn't a standard front end (Jammy Goit).

I warned him that I'd be sniffing around his car with a toolkit if he leaves it sitting for too long in a dark alley ;)

I bought this bumper for my Focus also, you won't believe what I paid for it - €20,- yes, that's 2-0 - twenty euros! :D I was little scratched (5-6cm) and already in my color, panther black. It's currently being fixed and repainted again for the paint to be alike all over the bumper, also with my new ST rear spoiler...aaaaand you won't believe what I found today after months of searching...this: !!!

Oh yeah, foglight covers with integrated DRLs!!! They've been available from some dude from Philipines I believe, some time ago, but after few emails I sent him, I finally got a response that he's not doing it anymore...but today is my lucky day I guess! Just sitting at work, drinking my morning coffee and browsing around the web and I found them! Out of the blue! So, of course, order is placed and I can't wait to get them! :D

GTFOH!

20 euros indeed!!!! Jammy!

Reminds me of those antique roadshow things where someone buys something from a car boot for £20 and it turns out to be £2000 or something!

After looking into this I am very jealous haha

The CC bumper suits the mk2 far better than the standard one.

Just not enough cc's being made/scrapped... Seen a few but all front end damage :(

i was tempted to get a cc bumper when i had the focus but decided to go with a ms design front lip instead

equally as rare, easier to fit as it just adds to your existing front bumper so theres nothing to remove and it immediately butches the front end up and finishes it off nightly. also makes the front end look lower so it has a meaner stance

Hate these sorts of threads... The last thing I need to do is start thinking about changing the front end of the car, but this thread has planted a nagging little seed in my mind

Hahaha, I see that my bargain (along other things) created quite a discussion here :D

I've admired this styling packet for many years, so after seeing the offer I decided to go for it :) ... aaaand just got a call that it's going to be ready this week!

I definitely preffer this over the ST look...mostly because many ST copies running around and what's the point of being different when you end up being the same as the others? :) (still like the ST look though, but CC wins)

When you say you ordered the styling packet, what do you mean? Is it a copy of the cc bumper? How many pennies? Etc.. (:

It was an offer on an ebay-like portal operating here in Slovakia...I paid 20€ (see above) for it, and few € for the central grille and foglight covers (aftermarket) and now I bought foglight covers with DRLs (see link above). The guy was selling the bumper because of little damage (5-6cm scratch) and an upgrade to ST bumper and this one was just lying in his garage unused...

The bumper seems to be original Ford part, however even if it's not, the quality is absolutely great. I'm having the scratch on it fixed and painted so when it's done I can check if it's an original part or not...I only bought the front bumper, as I don't see the point of rear apron as it doesn't really look that different than the original...maybe if I find one for a good price... :)
