house plug socket.,cheaper the better and if i can change the amp output would be better.

You can pick up a 12v dc power supply pretty cheap these days.

Have a look on eBay, but make sure it's DC. I picked up a 42w or 3.5 amp regulated supply from eBay a few weeks back for just a few quid. Been running it mostly around 3/4 load and so far no issues.

Did think of the old c.b power pack as there ok but not sure what output they push.

I like the idea of some that you can change like the one on the link here but if the item

is say a dash cam and only mini usb power then i hit another problem.

I cheated - I took a failing battery out of the mondeo, and charged it, then leave that there with a crocodile clip 12v output - if I need to test it, I just hook it up to the battery in the house and theres the 12v I need!

The ones on eBay are good, but they cant be used for the likes of a tyre inflator, but they will do you for example - using a phone charger / tom tom charger or similar.

The firrst link that stoney put on is just what i need,a 12v car charger in the house.

What i want to do is charge some stuff in the house but there 12v (car stuff) with 5v output or even use them.

Say a dash cam, most use mini u.s.b off a cigi charger to charge/run them but if i had that lead i put on the link

they have the round ends, just was seeing if there is anything to plug into the round end to make into mini u.s.b.

That cigi lighter house plug looks good, saves charging through p.c what takes ages.

If it's mini USB then aslong as the other end is a normal use you only need any Sony/apple or Samsung USB charger plug as is 3.7-5.0v and low amps so won't over cook what you want to charge

Yes i have the apple u.s.b plug, like a triangle plug and normal u.s.b fits at the bottom.

That's great as i just plug my lead into it,nether thought of that,i can be so slow at times lol.
