Dpf Deleted From Ecu

Featured Replies

Anyone had any issues when taking there car for its mot after have the dpf deleted from the ECU ?

as long as the DPF is still there, it will be fine for now, ive never seen an MOT tester run diagnostics and check for things in the ECU

I believe ive read that euro 5 engines might get some test in 2017 or something like that to see if its there, other than that, they wont know if you had it gutted as they cant so much as remove the under tray let alone anything else, as long as its visible itll more than likely be fine

All mot tester looks for is dpf fitted , and from cars registeted after 1 augeust 2008 a lower emmisions limit is required to pass.

and there is talk of replacing the emisions test and/or adding a diagnostic check via obd plug to confirm all emmisions related systems functioning correctly

but thwts still a few years away yet .
