Calliper/drum Paint?

Featured Replies

Looking to paint my callipers and drums White with a black ford emblem, anyone know any decent paint that's not too expensive?

Also any tips would be appreciated!

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Hammerite does the job as good as any other or eBay do custom color caliper paint...the usual a light sand a good clean with brake cleaner and apply

all the ones ive done ive used hammerite ,ive used all colours red. blue, black, silver, bronze just rub them down clean them off out with the paint job done

I have some hammerite white I am eventually going to do my calipers in.

+1 for Hammerite - remember lots of thin coats. If you apply a thick coats it will probably run and drip onto your wheels!

I wouldn't go with white personally...they'll be covered in brake dust most of the time lol.

But yeah, I use Hammerite, either brush or spray, both work well in my experience.

Aye only really plan on white for now as an undercoat lol

I did my front brakes and rear drums black with the hammerite satin finish last year. Still holding up very well like others have said take your time and light coats and you should get a good result.

What ratio would you thin it down by

He just means light coats of paint rather than plastering it on

ok. Ha merits and light coats of paint. Your avin a larf :)
