I wonder if anyone could help me out. I've got a 51 plate 1.8 tdi focus. All of a sudden it just cut out. Had as out and they found the codes p1664 and p1564. Can anyone shed light on these and what they could mean.

    P1664 FIP (Fuel Injection Pump) malfunction (possible air ingress in low pressure fuel side)

    P1564 FIP (Fuel Injection Pump) requesting reduced fueling mode

    I'm guessing the fuel pump is your culprit
