i want to up grade the No plate bulb on the car

can any one tell me 1 how to get to the bulb remove it also what replacement bulb is required

the unit is from what i can see part finger grip with a narrow lense for the bulb in it

i cant see anyway of removing it

    Does it look like yellowish halogen light on yours?

    As far as I know it is an LED, if the colour is white, not yellowish, then it definitely is.

    I'm pretty sure it is a module, that can't be disassembled, as there is no bulb.

    i hope not the flippin car is full of modules, the footwell lights are as well as the roof lights, its almost non moddable, the only thing ive been able to do so far is change the bulbs in the boot !

    Just gets a little more complicated, I know some people have changed the LEDs, but you need to be good with a soldering iron, as they are the SMD type.
