Hi,

I currently have my eye on a 2012 2.0l TDCI Zetec Powershift. Asking price is £10,000 and it has done 45,000 miles. I am a little bit concerned about the mileage but I understand from friend's with diesels that this isn't too bad. I've personally never driven a diesel engined car before.

Does anyone have any experiences with this car and would recommend (or otherwise )? Also, realistically what negotiation price should I go in at? It seems quite close to the Parkers listing. It needs its first MOT next month, so I am going to insist they MOT and service it.

The dealer is already trying to flog me a variety of warranties including Warranty 4 Life, Tyres and Alloys, paintwork etc! Plus Diamondbrite. It has added about another £2000 on top!! Are there any things that you would recommend from that list I get? I'm thinking of not bothering with any of them to be honest.
