New Guy... Like The Last Few Only Different!

Hi Guys,

Not only have I bought my first focus (EVER) I've also moved from Australia to the UK... Before you ask why, the answer is... work! :-)

Always need a project back home and the UK is no different so I've bought a (relatively) cheap little 05 Focus 5 door. It's originally a 1.6TDCI car that's been fitted with a 2.0 TDCI & 6 speed. It's not a bad little car, just needs a little TLC which I'll show it over the coming months. Car came with a Dyno Graph claiming 158bhp & at a guess I'd have to say it's probably got most of that! It's also got factory ST 18's fitted

I can't help myself clearly though & having owned it for 4 days it spent 3 days at the body shop having a ST rear bar fitted & painted... The bar came with the car as it had some minor rear end damage.

I also found some ST front and rear brakes complete on Ebay for a couple hundred quid and snatched them up. Being a 1.6 this thing of mine has drum rears and assuming they fit (no, I haven't checked, just guessing for now...) I figure the ST gear should have it behaving better soon!

Anyway - That's enough about me for now, just thought I'd say hi! Anything else you'd like to know or if you'd like to point out some glaring issues with my plans for the Focus, let me know!! :-)

Follow up on my ST brakes.... guy listing them on Ebay is claiming they were stolen from the bottom of his garden. Annoyed, but will find some more I'm sure!

I did get the Exhaust modded yesterday to take advantage of the twin outlet ST bumper bar instead!
