Guest
Hi, driving home last night clear road, I saw nothing on the road, but it was dark. It sounded like I drove over a wire or possibly a branch? I heard and felt it go under the front wheel and work it's way out the back. I just had a look to see if anything had fallen off! or marked my car. Am I meant to have a undercover trim? I can see the floor looking into the engine bay? There are no obvious clips missing? Do they have them? When I bought it I thought the top engine cover was missing, then found out the 100 BHP 1.6 doesn't have one. Can someone look to see if they have one please? Thanks
JW1982
The 1.4/1.6 Duratec Petrol versions do not have an engine undertray. There is only a small tray below the front bumper to guide the cooling air into the radiator. Most other MK2/MK2.5 Petrol versions do not have an undertray either. Only diesel versions have them.
