JordFocus
Anyone know where I can get the trim for wing mirrors for a mk 2.5 focus? Keeps coming loose every time I open the door? It's the triangular part in front of the mirror if that helps! Thanks you lot! Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

artscot79
Silicone the sods on they can leak water into the car by the way so get some good sealant park it next to a wall or fence silicone around the fittings pop into place then use something between wall n trim to keep it held in place.....the sun distorts then anyway so buying new ones can be a false economy

Stoney871
They are held on with 3 plastic trim clips that weaken over time, also the trim can warp slightly causing the clips to pull out. Remove the trim and place it somewhere warm, applying weight in strategic positionds so the trim flattens out. what side are you after? as there is a right hand side one going on ebay- item number 301566839412 and a left hand one item number- 291386226278. troy45
Hair drier or similar would help applying heat if you're trying to flatten out a distorted panel, or a DIY type heat gun if you want to up the amount of heat applied. Also consider pricing them up from a main dealer, may be cheaper than you think.
Stoney871
Left hand cover is Finis (part) number 1683640 and is about £16. Right hand cover is Finis number 1683639 and is about £10. Why the disparity in part prices from one side of the car to another, I haven't a clue. If you need new clips they are Finis number 1619889 and about £1.25 for two.
