    I get the feeling they may not get any profit from it though.

    They are pulling all TG branding and content.

    I imagine it is better to let the show go on without it being official TG and forfeit the profits, than to have to pay millions in fines and refunds.

    yeah i wouldnt bother going to see it as there wont be any stars in reasonable priced cars and the stig wont be there. If they move forward with a new presenter or new presenters it wont work the only top gear everyone likes is the one with Clarkson, Hammond and May. They may aswell scrap there plans for trying to show the remaining episodes for the current season. Top gear isn't Top Gear with just 2 of them the 3 of them are Top Gear..... You can't drive a car with no wheels. The BBC don't understand is that the millions of people don't just tune in for the cars but for the Presenters aswell.

    Top Gear with out Clarkson or may or hammond may aswell be that crap show called fifth gear.............

    I have watched the american version of TG and it is crap compared to the UK's one and guess why it is because the American presenters are boring compared to the UK Presenters.
