    It's a good car bud what sort of budget does he have for one? The best idea is go onto gumtree, maybe autotrader if enough money or there's even a few facebook pages that can buy cheap cars from and the focus is a cracker :D

    he's got about 2000-2500,

    car will be on street so does not want to spend too much,

    used to find his mirrors turned in, when he went to his car in the mornings, so does not want it to be pride and joy

    That's a fair whack :) he could maybe get a good mileaged 05 plate for that not quite the newest shape but a nice car and reliable :D
