Ford Ids Vcm Ii

Featured Replies

Hi folks. I currently have the Ford IDS VCM system and was looking to upgrade to the above.

Has anyone used this before and would it be worth keeping both versions...one for older cars and the VCM II for newer cars...if that makes sense.

I can get hold of this new model for £150.

old vcm still works on all newer models except for new mondeo and mustang when it arrives

Ah thats good to hear...might not bother getting it then if thats the case. Just tho they may have put more security on the obd2 port so that the vcm2 will only work etc

Nope , I use vcm2 normally as its wireless and makes using it easier sometimes, still have to plug in to obd port obviously. Old vcm still works on current stuff though.
