Refurbishing The Alloys - Which Colour To Go For?

Hi.

I recently bought a Focus Mk3 2011 Titanium in Candy Yellow with the upgraded five spoke Ford 18" alloys. The car was mint apart from the kerbed alloys. The garage agreed to use their 'in - house' team to refurbish them. The results could have been done better by my 10 year old son! Can't be bothered to moan to them as I'd rather just get them done properly.

My question is whether to go for the standard sparkly silver finish, or a gloss black, or something in between. Has anyone got a candy yellow mk3 with black alloys? Gloss black could look good with the privacy glass and the gloss black grills on the front.

Go with anthracite grey, colour suits any vehicle

Good suggestion! Anthracite grey should look good. Gloss black is too much. When spending a few hundred pounds on the refurbishment, it would be good to see a noticable difference!

refurbed my alloys to gloss black today! They look great and I plan on glossing the grills and fog light surronds, you can ask people but all comes down to personal preference, go with what you think looks best.

All I can say is go with a colour you like. Its your car. So you need to put your own statement/mark on it.
