Hi guys ive just bought the above car a few weeks ago it has high miles 117000 but drives fine

We took kids to a park about 25 miles away are friends who were following in there car

said there was quite a lot of brown smoke at 1 point just as we were parking up

i didnt notice anything could this of been the dpf cleaning itself as ive never seen brown smoke

and im a bit worried

    Sounds like it could be m8 when I cut mine out an blow it out with an air line the clouds of rust like dust was unbelievable

    Yep, it's burnt soot from the DPF, not a problem if it's doing a regen.
