jeebowhite Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I would like to start by reassuring you I haven't lost all my faculties and the FOCer in me took pleasure in witnessing what I did tonight, however, my want to be a better person and civic duty meant I had to report this... As I was out heading to my local fish shop for my meal, I witnessed an astra, observed driving (I choke as I say this, literally) seemingly safely and sensibly.... He swing his car out of the way of a pursuing motor cycle / scooter. The scooter was riding around the place like a nut job, all over the road chasing the astra. He then proceeded to crash into the back of the astra and kick it and drive off. The astra driver pulled up and abandoned his vehicle, I presume fearing his safety, after the bike did one. I reported it to the police on arriving home, and as much as I hate to say this, the astra driver was seemingly sensible and seemingly blameless at this point. On a plus side, either reporting this to the police will get the biker done for his idiocy, of will highlight the astra if there is something wrong with the car or occupants. Either way, I hope someone gets done for either way. I have already said a thousand hail fordies to repent my sins. But if I was an innocent driver and some fruit loop attacked my car, I would hope a witness would do the same for me, so I have to put the brand to the side and treat it ad any other victim. I will repeat though, as I first saw the incident unfold, there was a small part of me inside that smiled, and felt pleasant, but at the same time it wasn't enough for me to brush it off as an 'ah well' 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh and Steve the other thing was a vauxhall that ran my wife over and threw her ten foot in the air and put her in intensive care for weeks. I still see the effects of it today and that was about 9 year ago. I don't just hate a car for no reason but three incidents of high severity and impact on my life are all justified reasons for hate in my book. If It was an individual who did these things I would hate them if a car was not involved. But between those three and most my witnessing of idiots on the road, dangerous driving, without care and attention etc they are more often vauxhall than not. I penalise any idiot on the road, ford, vauxhall, German or eastern. I have reported all types for incidents on the road, but if I want over all the reports I have made (which I did a month ago) of 14 reports for driving without care and attention or dangerous driving, 6 where vauxhall, the only model that repeated was vw where one tool was in a golf the other a passat Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
