Hi all,

When i had a BMW a couple of years back there were a few good independent garages specialising in BMW's who knew their stuff for a fraction of the stealerships price . Have looked for a list of indpendent specialist Ford Garages in Kent and sadly google came up with nothing that i could see . Does anyone know of a list of these garages as id like to get a full service done but not pay Fords silly prices .

Also i have a 2010 1.8 Zetec (Duratec) engine that has 37800 and is sounding a bit tappety . Is this the engine that has the shims that should be changed at 37500?

    There's a great garage called apple development in cobham that our family always use to use.

    Very friendly and I always thought good value. Not a ford specialist but they know what they are on about.

    The only reason we don't go there now is because my dad has a merc and uses there service centres and I live in Maidstone and use the ford dealership in strood as mines under warranty.

    Hope this is of some use.
