Featured Replies

Hi All

I have just replaced the battery on my 2008 1.6 zetec, the esp light is now on can anyone offer any ideas as to why this is?

many thanks

Neil

Try disable it in the menu and then turn engine off(when engine is off and then turned again it enables usually) and the light may go off. If not their may be an fault

Thanks Jeremy I don't seem to be able to highlight it in the menu the cross appears in the box but goes straight out, its only done this since I put a new battery in the car

Guess the next thing to try is disconnecting the battery and waiting a few minutes and reconnecting. If that fails it could be an serious issue someone else may have a better input here though
