Mk2 Focus Front Speaker Change

Featured Replies

Swapping out the stock component speakers for some aftermarket ones but need some advice on the wiring. I know on some cars you can tap into the original wiring on the factory speakers straight into the cross over. But looking at the speakers in my focus I can see 4 wires going into the woofer ?!?! Question is can I use any of these wires, if so which or alternitavly best/easiest way to get the wire from my door to the head unit without drilling holes?

I believe that 1 pair of wires is fed on to the stock tweeters.

So 2 wires from stereo to speaker then from speaker 2 wires go back and up the door to the tweeter
