St Insurance

Featured Replies

Hi guys does anyone know of a place where i can get insurance for an ST3 cheaper than £2000

Have you tried Adrian Flux? You get a discount for being a member here.

Hi,

Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.

Regards,

Dan.

Just use the comparison sites see what falls out

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app

comparison sites are useless

they quote me 3 times what my current premium is

give greenlight a shout

in my personal experience they've been the cheapest modified car/hot hatch insurer and they love the st

how old are you exactly?

Think it is all related to different factors, the two key ones being age and location then of course how naughty you may have been. For me being over 40 with no NCB a 1.8 Zetec S i found Swift surprisingly good who have done it for me for £410 . Regarding Adrian Flux i tried them buit sadly in my case were about £250 more.

Thanx for the advice guys il have a look into all of them im 26 with only a year of driving under my belt unfortunately dan il send my details over to you now thanx again guys

With those details you'll be hit hard no matter where you go 1 years driving and an st that's why many build up there no claims first for a few years

Beat me to it Arthur . Even if you past the test at 17 and kept your nose clean you are going for a high powered sports car.So with only one years experience i would say forget it unless you want to pay big money . I passed at 17 and to be fair took me 5-6 years before i could even consider a performance car which was a Renault 5 GT Turbo with a Radbourne modified engine. That was in 1994 and even then with no claims and a few years under my belt it cost near on £1400 (20 years ago so no idea what it would be now) . Do remember folks saying to me forget about a performance car until you hit 30,or if you want to stay living with your parents until then because thats where all your money will go . Im 43 now and STILL couldnt afford an ST! ;-)

Go for a Zetec S 2.0 and tinker with it if you want a sporty looking car but even that might be costly,so a 1.8 would be better . We ALL would love to just jump into a high power car as soon as we can but sad to say it,you are a high risk and going for an ST insurance companies just wont want the risk without it really hurting you in the pocket .

Give it a few years mate until you can be a miserable old jealous git like me,but at least the cost will be cheaper....and you can spend the extra on werthurs original ;-)

Best of luck.

Im goin for the 2.2 diesel mondeo st i think nowhere is covering me for wat i wanto pay got it for 1200 but with a black box and on a ST i dont want a box fitted ever again bad enough on my focus now

Friend has one.Not near as powerful as the Focus ST but it sure does not hang around . I am actually surprised you got insured for that amount as i thought you would be knocking on two grand again even though thats about the same as an ST 3 . What reg Modeo are you going for?
