Mk 3.5 Toll Tag On Inside Of Windscreen?

Hi, I'm a new member and picked up my new mk 3.5 focus on Saturday.

I have a bridge crossing toll tag that sticks to the inside of the windscreen which gets read as I drive through the toll booth.

Question is, where can I safely attach it on the focus because I don't want to mess any of the sensors up?

Thought I'd ask here cos if anyone will know, you guys will :) Thanks for any help/advice.

You can attach it anywhere on the inside of the screen. (That doesn't obscure your view obviously).

The sensors have a shroud around them on the inside, so you can't block them

Having thought about it a bit more, the only sensor you could block is the ambient light sensor, which is right at the bottom in the middle of the dash.

I think that it would be considered to be blocking the drivers view there anyway.

Thanks for the replies.

It needs to be in the top right of the screen next to the rear view mirror.

Was worried about the heated windscreen elements as well as the sensors.

It won't have an effect on the element will it?

Shouldn't do, however what the heater elements may do to the signal from the tag is another matter.

Can you place it into the black spotty bit at the top of the screen?

The heating elements are in between the sheets that make up the laminated glass.

As has been said, if anything the elements could cause a problem with the sticker, but I doubt it as they are very thin.

I was informed by Dartford crossing that their dart tag goes in the windscreen ideally behind the black mesh surrounding the rear view mirror.
