[Problem] Ford Fiest 2002 Stalling & Not Shifting Right.

Featured Replies

Hey folks, hows things?

Got a problem with a 2004 Ford Fiesta 1388cc Duratec engine. Automatic (that weird electric shifter thing. Far as I can tell works via magic and witchcraft).

Its been running funny, stalls at idle and not shifting correctly.

Got it warm, if I blip the throttle (or just bring it up) and let off, the engine idles right down to 250-500rpm, almost stalls, then picks back up to 1000rpm ish.

It had a service (oil, filters, new spark plugs). Problem only started yesterday. Stuck a ebay special cheap code reader on and it just gave "03 fault . 07 pending" all P0000 or P0000 P.

So sort of stumped whats wrong with it. Re checked the plugs, leads, those still look good (colour wise).

Any ideas?

Ta for any help.
