Radiator!!

Featured Replies

This has been a regular problem for months. I have a mk6 facelift zetec s fiesta. My !Removed! radiator tube will not stay on, meaning that my engine regularly overheats. I've saved myself by the skin of my teeth because I know when it's going to happen - I've tried jubilee clips, even tie raps, screw drivers and sheer force and it will NOT!! Stay on. If I'm not careful I'm going to blow my cylinder head gasket. It's been back and forth to the garage but it's useless. Any suggestions/has anyone else had this problem? Someone shed some light otherwise the car that I love is gunna have to go elsewhere because I'm going !Removed! crazy!!!

Have you considered replacing the tubing? Have you inspected both parts for any visible wear inside and out (obviously not in the radiator haha)

I'm getting the tubes replaced today but as far as wear goes they where hardly even worn :| it seems as though it's a really complex problem even though it's just a case of the tube not staying on but I will see today what happens, thank you!
